We're hiring! Customer Insight Analyst

Preventx is looking for a curious, methodical, and experienced data analyst to join our commercial team with a focus on delivering customer insight that improves performance and demonstrates the value we add. As well as enhancing customer experience, you will improve public health outcomes through the insights you generate.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Interpret and provide accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders in a format that's easily understood 
  • Plan, develop and coordinate the production of a suite of performance reports that meet the needs of Preventx, its customers and its commissioners 
  • Undertake ad-hoc data analysis as and when required in a timely and accurate way 
  • Support marketing and communications of the service both internally and externally to the business 
  • Model the financial and social benefits that prospective partners and customers could realise through working with Preventx 
  • Support the development of proposals to expand the scope of services provided under the contract 
  • Organise customer and service user satisfaction surveys to help drive continuous service improvement  

Skills and Competencies: 

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data 
  • Experience presenting complex data concisely in reports or dashboards. 
  • A good understanding of database structures and translating business requirements into report definitions. 
  • Ability to assimilate and communicate quantitative and qualitative information in formats that are easily understood by all audiences 
  • Advanced MS Excel skills – including understanding of power pivot tables, vlookups, conditional formatting, graphingdata handling, VBAand macros. 
  • Experience querying data in SQL Server Management Studio using T-SQL.  
  • Working knowledge of building reports in Power BI, including use of DAX. 
  • Statistical analysis desirable, i.e. analysing data using statistical techniques, formulas, and calculations and performing statistical tests to determine the reliability and soundness of results. 
  • Experience in ensuring data integrity by performing rigorous cleaning, error checking, and validation.
  • A high level of energy and enthusiasm and self-motivation to deliver results 
  • Experience of gathering and using data to build persuasive arguments 
  • Proven ability to use data to influence key stakeholders 
  • A high level of energy and enthusiasm and self-motivation to deliver results 
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills 
  • Experience of successfully working in fast- paced environments.

Salary and benefits 

Salary £40-£45k (depending on experience) and participation in company bonus scheme 

Remote working with regular travel to Sheffield/London
